Jorge Millán, a representative of the National Assembly for the Mesa de la Unidad Democrática (MUD) party, reported this Thursday that security officials detained six members of Primero Justicia at O’Higgins Avenue in El Paraíso.
“They took six leaders of Primero Justicia that were at the gathering place, waiting for more citizens to come”, he informed in an interview with Vivo Play.
This information was also confirmed by Tomás Guanipa, the general secretary of the party: “GNB is trying to detain leaders of Primero Justicia who are gathering peacefully”, he said.
El Paraíso is one of the 26 gathering places assigned by the opposition for the “mother of all marches”, called for today after a country-wide march took place yesterday, which resulted in 3 people dead and over 400 detained.
