Maduro to Julio Borges: You are responsible for this violence and you will pay.

President Nicolás Maduro assured that on April 19th, the government officialism defeated “once again” the opposition in the streets of Caracas, and made the president of the National Assembly, Julio Borges, repsonsible for the violence of the marches.

“Julio Borges, you are the chief of the coup, do not complain later when justice comes for you. Julio Borges, I am warning you in advanced. I am decided to defend the homeland, and I will not move back an inch. I am moving forward, damnit”, he expressed from Avenue Bolívar. President Maduro called the representative of Primero Justicia a “hypocrite, pharisee, conspirator, coward and a clown”. “You are responsible for the violence and you will be responsible in the face of justice”, he added.

“Today they intended to throw down the government and we have defeated them once more”, he expressed from the stage on Avenue Bolívar.

Maduro assured that from the opposition they asked for private meetings and asked the Ombudsman, Tarek William Saab, to take a letter from them. “If they wanted to deliver a letter, they would not need to convene in a violent event, attack the police, the guard, sack, burn buses and burn libraries”, he said.

President Maduro said that the response from Moral Power indicates that there are no reasons and there will not be a process to dismiss the magistrates of the Supreme Court.
